Hi Gerald, quick question: I am installing Embperl on the server of a
small company for whom I am doing some consulting. The server is running
FreeBSD, and the setup is a virtual server environment which has many
restrictions on what my user account can see. Currently I am having
problems with the install of the Embperl mod_perl support because the
user does not have access to the Apache src directory. I am trying to
get the sysadmin to give us read access. The question is, how much does
Embperl need to be able to see in order to install with mod_perl? Is it
sufficient to just have read-only access on the src directory of Apache?
What file(s) does it need to access? Are there any other directories
outside of the apache src dir that will be required?

This has all been invisible to me up to now while working on my own
servers, because I can install as root.

TIA

-Neil
