Aah I see...

You need the httpd.h (and other Apache includes) without that Embperl can't
compile. For SuSE Linux for example there is a RPM package call Apache-dev
which contains theses header. You need to install such a package addtionaly.
I guess Redhat has also such a package. In any case you can download the
Apache source for the version that comes with your Linux Distribution and
use the header files from the Apache sources.
