I've been thinking about installing embperl on my PowerBook G4 to do 
local development but haven't gotten to it yet.  I found this past 
email from Gerald on the question...

too bad...  10.2.4 has Apache 1.3.27 and ModPerl 1.26 installed.  I'm 
not sure what the differences are for OS X Server but good luck.
