Hi all I'm currently trying to browse through the emc code to see how I can add my own machine... I must admit that I am somewhat lost but that is another story... :-)
I will probably have a lot of questions, but I'll start with the easy ones (I hope)... :-) The interpreter under emc2/src/emc/rs274ngc/ seems to be significantly different from the one at emc/src/rs274ngc_new/ (I have played around with the emc version a few months ago and that one seemed to work fine, but I couldn't make the emc2 one to run; but I didn't use too much time on it). From what I can read from http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl?AdditionalGCodeFunctionality the NIST interpreter is committed to the emc branch and then manually merged with the emc2 branch. Is this still the case? Best regards Preben ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsored by: SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards: VOTE NOW!
