Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: HAL Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: John Thornton (bigjohnt) Assigned to: John Kasunich (jmkasunich) Summary: motion.spindle-speed-out is negative with M4 Initial Comment: When you issue a S250 M3 for example motion.spindle-speed-out is 250 but when you issue a S250 M4 motion.spindle-speed-out is -250. motion.spindle-forward and motion.spindle-reverse should suffice to control direction of rotation. The speed should be 0 to whatever in rpms without trying to imply direction IMHO. I discovered this while trying to use the gs2_vfd driver. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=106744&aid=2483030&group_id=6744 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Emc-developers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-developers
