The HT is better in off state, and next thing you MIGT to alter is the
power management, it is better when it does not interfere with the CPU
function, since in many systems the power management is able to
introduce random and long delays into CPU operation.
I run screensavers when test loading the system, there is a lot of
them and they are power-hungry too.
