The PDF documentation wasn't building with LyX 1.6.1, which is the
version in hardy-backports and the version that is likely to be in
Jaunty Jackalope.

I found things that, when changed, let the docs build. I am not sure
what exactly these things look like in the GUI, because I was using a
text editor to make changes.

Problem A: subcaptionText in an image
-- I removed these

Problem B: -\begin_inset Formula $μ$
-- (formula mu) I replaced these with a literal μ, being sure to keep
the file in the iso-8859-1 encoding

For the moment the full docs build on my 8.04 machine with LyX 1.6.1
from hardy-backports, and swp says they look ok on his machine with the
jaunty alpha.
