Summary: Ctrl-Space selects tab highlighted widgets

Initial Comment:
Repeatedly depressing "tab" causes a black outline box to move from widget to
widget indicating which widget will be activated by pressing "Space". This
behavior is normal and is used for gui operation without a mouse. The problem
is that pressing "Ctrl-Space" to clear error messages simultaneously causes the
tab highlighted widget to be selected. Often the results are benign, but could
be problematic if the selected widget is a jog button for example. The likely
fix is to expressly disconnect the "Ctrl-Space" key combination binding from
the "activate the selected widget" function. Only a plain "Space" should do
this.
Thanks,
Matt
