Hi, I discovered that EMC2 takes about 1ms to execute each line of Gcode (this is the servo thread period). Because of this, EMC2 is not fast enough to change the laser intensity in a reasonable time. This problem is old. Take a look at the following post (five months ago):

If someone wants to develop something similar in EMC2, I am happy to help. (I am not a developer).
