Hi,
I discovered that EMC2 takes about 1ms to execute each line of Gcode (this
is the servo thread period).
Because of this, EMC2 is not fast enough to change the laser intensity in a
reasonable time.
This problem is old. Take a look at the following post (five months ago):

I will try the Mach3 laser plugin.
If someone wants to develop something similar in EMC2, I am happy to help.
(I am not a developer).

I assume you tried speeding up the servo thread and trajectory thread?

If you mean the "base period", yes I changed it, but the delay is still
present.
Or do you mean other thread?.
