When you say the performance is similar, do you mean torque, torque ripple,
or what?

Also, I meant to ask previously: What's the motivation for doing this in EMC
vs using SoftDMC? (Sorry if this is a stupid question.. I don't know much
about SoftDMC.  Does SoftDMC even do sinusoidal?)
