I dunno.... a Microsoft guy working that closely with open source
software developers??

If I was the owner of Tolt, I might be concerned what my co-workers at
the big "M" might think. Could that be construed as Microsoft
treason? ;-)

BTW, has anyone tried to buy a legal copy of Windows XP recently?
Newegg no longer carries Windows XP at all. It is getting scarce.

I understand that if you buy the top end Windows 7 Pro version you can
downgrade it to Windows XP, but that is an expensive way to go.

That is going to cause some serious problems for many of my industrial
control customers. A lot of industrial software will not run
properly on Windows 7.

Perhaps Microsoft.. out of the goodness of their heart will turn over
the Windows XP source code to the public domain so us minions can keep
American manufacturers working. ;-)

Start uncovering the many advantages of virtual appliances
and start using them to simplify application deployment and
accelerate your shift to cloud computing.
