On my plasma when I type a number into the spinbox and tweak the up/down key to make it take the number the spinbox text area keeps the focus from the key board even after you tweak the up/down key. Many a time when EMC would not run my program I look a the spinbox and see "81rrr" and start clicking on different tabs till the focus leaves the spinbox. I think I'll try a slider to see if if works better for me.
