I was looking in the 2.5 manual for halui pins and read this comment
for feed-override.direct-value pin :
This function had been released,
but is currently withdrawn for further development.
It may or may not be
present in your version of LinuxCNC.
As PNCconf uses this pin I am curious what this actually means.
I might also add max-velocity also has the direct-value switch available though
it is not in the manual.
