you would need to be specific about the error message.
I doubt it the same problem.

It is not because you made the config with PNCconf.
PNCconf's problem is related to a testpanel display.
When the panel closes it doesn't seem to completely remove the
HAL component.
AXIS make a HAL component too the difference I think is that
when AXIS closes the HAL component it also closes it's self.
In PNCconf the test panel (and component) closes but PNCconf
doesn't. So when the testpanel is choosen again it either errors
or crashes.

A broken pipe is often a HAL error. If you run from the terminal
the actual HAL error may be displayed.
