Hi Andy,

I am using the latest version from git 2.6~pre.
The missing files are all in the parent folder, the problem is that the files 
in the folder of the actual configuration i.e sim/axis have as entry a path to 
the parent file.
And this entries cannot be parsed.

Therefore the question would be, who knows where (in which build script) the 
simlinks should be added and would fix this in git?
Sure I could do simlinks on my local machine and then push them to git but I am 
not sure if this is the right place to do it...

I have seen the same thing, and can't quite remember the cause.
I think it was due to the code that copies the sims to the local directory not 
also copying across the common files in the parent folder.

I have a vague memory that someone was looking at it, what version are you 
running? It may only be a problem with RIP systems too.

You will probably find the missing files somewhere if you look ( 
/usr/share/linuxcnc?). Symlinks or making copies ought to fix it.
