I would bet if that is ever going to happen it will only happen on lcnc3.
Please add it to the wiki

I want to stress that just because an idea is on the wiki doesn't mean it will 
ever
get done. This is more for the planning stages of infrastructure. This is to
create dialog and thought.
There are some great ideas there already!

It might also be an interesting page for people to write about what project they
are integrating using linuxcnc outside of our project.
There has been quite a few interesting forks. It would be good to keep the 
authors
close so that we can incorporate  desirable features.
