Another data point (12.10): I tested following Anders' instructions (thanks) to install Michael's xenomai debs and get the rtos-integration-preview1 branch.
I built on an installation of xubuntu quantal 12.10 using gcc4.6 (problems with 4.7) on a lenovo sl510 (laptop with intel graphics, i915 driver).
