I came to this same conclusion last night before I got distracted. I've 
got a fix worked up, I'll push it tonight.  The bug affects both 2.5 and 
master, I'll fix both.

Yeah, there's no code sharing for module parameter handling, so the bug 
is not guaranteed to be replicated in other modules.  If you find any, 
please let us know.
