The suggestion that downloading this kernel package somehow wipes your grub configuration is a bit hard to follow; in any case you should have a default kernel which you can select via grub. The log shows one attempt where the downloader obviously forgot the step 'CODENAME=$(lsb_release -cs); echo $CODENAME' as per instructions. Then boot into the Xenomai kernel.
