I'm split - Jeff says so, Dave says otherwise I understand Jeff's point, but I see value in a focused discussion which is updated as we go along plus I do note the enormous power of mailing list discussion to go on a tangent in no time flat, which is something we dont need at all in such a fundamental cause at least the headline on the bug issue will force focus on responses, and deter war story type contributions -- maybe we should think about a different format of issue discussions of this type.
