Is that the compile error that looks similar to this?
In file included from /usr/include/math.h:28:0,
from <wherever>:
/usr/include/features.h:324:26: fatal error: bits/predefs.h: \
No such file or directory
>>>>
That is the indication of the problem yes. /bits /asm /gnu /sys are now
all in /i386-linux-gnu in the 12.xx system
When you resolve the includes (I just created symlinks back to the
parent directory, nothing as complex and
comprehensive as your fix) magma will build
However when you run linuxcnc against it, it errors on loading
rtai_math.ko (invalid sysmbol)
so something is not built properly
Looking at your patch, maybe I needed to ensure math.h was being
specifically #include'd
hard to believe it wasn't

Anyone know how Shabby and memleak fixed this?

Afraid I was just happy that magma builds fine on Debian and RTAI works on both
Debian and 12.04
Have not bothered trying to diff the code to see where they fixed it
Ubuntu 12.04 is awful, I have gone wholly over to Debian 7 for everything now,
so lost interest in why things don't work on 12.04
