Hi All,

Thanks to the extensive feedback and advice I got from everyone on the
lists, a few concerns arose that my original proposal didn't fully address.
 I wrote up another PDF that explains a variation on the original approach
that should be easier to develop and test, and potentially could be more
robust in the future.

I'm curious what everyone thinks of this strategy, and if there are any
pitfalls or risks I didn't think of.  In particular, I'm curious about
potential conflicts with spindle-synchronized motion, and if the simulation
provides a means to test CSS moves and rigid tapping.
