Hi All, Thanks to the extensive feedback and advice I got from everyone on the lists, a few concerns arose that my original proposal didn't fully address. I wrote up another PDF that explains a variation on the original approach that should be easier to develop and test, and potentially could be more robust in the future.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/o5he7ijpplkvc8r/Trajectory%20Lookahead%20with%20Arcs.pdf I'm curious what everyone thinks of this strategy, and if there are any pitfalls or risks I didn't think of. In particular, I'm curious about potential conflicts with spindle-synchronized motion, and if the simulation provides a means to test CSS moves and rigid tapping. Thanks!
