I routinely build with -j20 on my development machine, and our mainline
branches (2.5, master) seem to be working well with parallel builds.

I heard reports early in the new-rtos work about problems with parallel
builds, and I heard reports later that it was fixed.

What i really want is to add parallel builds to our continuous
integration system (the buildbot). If we always build everything with
-j2 (or more), these kinds of problems should get caught earlier and be
even less of an issue, and we'd have more confidence that things are
always working.

This means increasinf the number of virtual CPUs for the buildslave VMs,
and changing the script that the buildbot uses to do its builds. No big
deal.
