In 2.5 one could call halrun -sf
which would run the commands in a file (if present)
but would not print the halcmd prompt.
Note the 'if present' if not it would be interactive from the stdin
In master:
-f without a file is an error.
It seems -I was added for interactive without a file.
-Is still prints the halcmd to stdout
So programs like stepconf and pncconf either error if -sf is used
or print prompts if -Is is used.
I wonder if a script expert could fix that in the halrun script.
On another similar topic:
Would it be hard/bad to have halcmd echo the command send from
stdin to stdout with a switch?
In debugging programs like stepconf it would be nice to have it
print the hal commands to the terminal that the program is sending it.
I guess that would be in halcmd C code...well I'll look to see it I can figure
it out.
