At the time I found the hard coded parts and changed them (from memory the 
linuxcnc script but I might be wrong) but it didn't work. I had the impression 
it had to do with choosing a configuration and not per se the hardcoded lines 
in the configuration files. But after switching to your newest image I decided 
to not use the linuxcnc-dev setup because I planned to use sd cards
