Here I sit, reading "man 9 gearchange". This is a classic example of "half" a man page. Nowhere in any of the other pdf's I have printed, is this module even mentioned.
I can, by breaking stuff, probably figure it out, but the one bit of what would be very helpful info that is missing, is where in the signal paths, do you put it? Does it function best inserted between the PID.N.out and the PWMGEN.N.value? Or somewhere in the feedback path from the encoder to the PID.N.feedback pin. Or somewhere in front of PID.N.in? Seems like there ought to be an obvious place in one of these signal paths that works best, But with the general lack of "usage" info in most of the man pages, it is not at all obvious to me. So the list is polluted with yet another _stupid_ question that I shouldn't be forced to ask... A where does it work best suggestion please. Thanks.
