I built master, ref 377f171, on my wheezy/3.4.55-rtai-2 SMP machine, which runs 2.6 fine, and upon starting linuxcnc with any config including sim/axis/axis, I get:

I can't figure out how to disassemble it, so I don't know for sure what +0x4 is, but that's awfully early in the function, so I bet the stack was smashed beforehand?
