I was trying to follow the instructions for compiling on stock Ubuntu without loading binaries first, per here: http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?Installing_LinuxCNC#On_Stock_Ubuntu Everything compiled fine (2.8-pre), but when I run the errors mainly say that the RTAPI libraries are missing. "uname -a" reports that I am running kernel 2.6.32-122-rtai. What am I missing?
