Just one of the several reasons I run amanda over my whole network every
night, Marius. Using virtual tapes on a separate terrabyte drive with a
30 day recycling of old backups.

The size of a typical install for LCNC is not that much of a disk
stuffer, under 10Gb even for old machines here, so I could, but I am not
grabbing the whole machine, but just those directories that are
volatile. It takes me about 10 minutes to remember how to run
amrecover, and retrieve all my LCNC configs and the nc_files.

but would work just as well.
