Greetings guys; One of the things I waste an extraordinary amount of time on is the load recent file menu.
Once its activated a menu, it monitors the mouse position, flipping menu's all over the screen as it tries to follow the mouse over to the filename you want it to load next. Slide it straight to the filename you want, and its not there to click on, something else has popped up. Ideally, once the menu has been pulled down, and the file list is then displayed, it should not respond to anything but a click on the filename to load. When I am standing up, changing tools and reloading the jig, this follow the mouse bit results in it taking 30 seconds or more, often forcing me to sit down in order to get close enough to the screen to see precisely, because the mouse MUST be slid exactly sideways while the menu is open else that menu disappears to be replaced by another, so you have to go back and get in sync, never deviating from the "recent files" line of text as you attempt to slide over and select the 1 of 5 displayed in the next box to the right. Clicking on the "recent files" line does not "lock" it to that selection. It either should lock it, or ignore the mouse until it needs to check the co-ords of the click you just made. Does it have to be like that? Thanks. Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
