We are getting error reports from users that use stepconf.
Unfortunately the version on the cd has an option to make
a simulated hardware version checked on by default.
It makes it look like the the stepdrives are not working when
in fact it's on purpose.
Since stepconf records some options such as simulated hardware,
if they have tried stepconf prior to updating the problem doesn't go
away.
I know updating the cd is a pain but I wonder if this is the proper solution.
