Jim very interesting the first thing i did with the pdf is to try to understand what it represented
i find myself zooming and panning between different areas a lot and opting to use an intermediate value of zoom where the text is barely legible, just so i get a larger scope i ran into the same problem using gEDA , you may be using something easier to scale than a pdf, maybe SVG. I'd like beziers for edges/nets too (like Gene) but more important is the ability to convey an idea there are some ways around the scope/scale issue that you allude to, the use of sheets/pages are you thinking along those lines? are these component objects automatically drawn or from a palette/library? great stuff i will browse the pdf more on a larger monitor ( that also helps ) interesting timing of your post, i was writing the c source for the pid component in scilab/xcos trying to follow andy pugh's tip https://help.scilab.org/docs/6.0.0/en_US/Continuous_pal.html and had drawfpb open for a comparison http://www.jpaulmorrison.com/graphicsstuff/ great work thanks! tomp tjtr33 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Emc-developers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-developers
