I would much rather it was applied to the co-ordinate system thats off 50 thou. ATM when switching to 55 or 56, they seem to be running at a higher X = 0.00000 than 54 is running. But the dro wasn't changing z with the switch, only X was jumping back and forth, while y was the same, as I had set it with the G10 commands in the code. Its been shut down for the night, but if its a tolerable temp tomorrow, I'll relocate the xy home and "home" both of them, then Z about at a thou above the work, and home Z, then switch to F55 & G56 and see if it now matches. Today Z was jumping up about .1" for 55 and 56, where 54 was staying pretty well put, so the tool wasn't slipping in the collet. Strange... This panel is within 1/16" of the tables max x travel. So I have to home it very carefully else it hits a limit switch to keep the screw from unscrewing itself from the ball nut. Or crashes into the table steps at the right end of the travel. Need an X screw about an inch longer to use all the table. I got these screws from Stuart, yonks ago, never seen another like them, about 8mm in diameter. -- Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
