I think its better known now. But I never seemed to make a connection as to what caused it. I've run into it and thought it was just me. But if you recall, I have also fussed about that inconsistency off and on for a decade or so. So I haven't used a % sign in yonks, it sometimes fusses, but it always runs the code anyway.
