Greetings all; After around 5 days of running this, I need to point out some problems. 1. The module usbhid-ups was left out of the kernel so I can't talk to my ups, and the syslog is being subjected to a flood of logged attempts.
So whats the best way to shut it off? My generator is up in 5 seconds, so if the ups battery is good for that long we'll be fine. But it would be nice if usbhid-ups was included in the next build. 2. Anything related to sane gets locked up at startup, using no cpu. That includes gimp which now looks for saned during its pluggin scan. The pluggin scanner can be killed from a root session of htop, them gimp runs but with no pluggins it might as well stay in the barn. A scanimage -L which locks up using zero cpu can only be stopped by a reboot, ignoring a SIGKILL from a root htop Can these 2 items be addressed? Thanks all.
