And I see whats stopping it, same place, out of virtual memory, and
despite one of the attached ssd's having a 10GB swap partition, its not
mounted! Doesn't show up except as 100 megs in htop, apparently in the
u-sd.

fstab is blank, so is mounts output. I thought finding an assigning swap
was automatic. I'll see if I can dupe whats here in my fstab and put it
in the pi's fstab.

I think it worked but the only place I can see it after a reboot is in
htop. But it must be working, it got past that particular file as it is
proceeding now, with htop showing its 75 megs into 9.7GB of swap, and
all 4 cores busier than that famous cat on a tin roof. Can I call it
progress? I would like to see a sensors output though to see how hot the
pi is getting.

But getting close to the end I've a boatload of warnings I've not seen
before:

But the packages (debs) are built.

Thanks Andy.

Installed, but had to install some more stuff with an
 sudo apt --fix-broken install, and:
latency-test --base-thread shows a max servo jitter of 29 u-secs, which
will run a 7i90 running that lathe just fine. Now to get amanda-common
and amanda-client installed and enabled then restore my linuxcnc configs
and nc_files directories from jessie. And that should put me back in
business! (as if there was any business but my hobby stuffs) Setting up
amanda to do everything can be involved however.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
