While I agree the docs are large and could be organized differently, I think 
'general user information' seems about the right place for it based on all the 
other chapters names.
As for making the docs larger - I don't think this is a problem as if you don't 
have a plasma, you do not need to/nor would, look through this.

Rather then debate about where it should go for quite some time - why not add 
it and see how that works out.
This is a development branch so could be changed latter.
I think it's better to have the (excellently done) docs in the wrong place then 
not have them at all.

In the long run we could write a formal guide line to how the docs are meant to 
be laid out.
Though I must confess I hate it when we change them as I have to search for 
everything again (probably an indication that they are a little bit organized 
inefficiently)

but after all that - linuxcnc's documents as a whole are excellent and I thank 
all who work on them because doing docs sucks : )

It's my humble opinion that documents that are not about LinuxCNC like
the Integrators Information document should not be in the main LinuxCNC
document as it is far too big now.
