I don't think that there are many differences between the two versions of "getting started" at this point. (I haven't worked out how to compare a full directory in Github, but I believe that there is a way) https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/tree/master/docs/src/getting-started seems to show that most files have been unchanged for years. However, there is a problem with your pull request for 2.8 as it seems to include a merge to bring 2.8 up to master in all respects. It might be simpler for someone with direct commit access to manually put your master-docs in to 2.8. -- atp "A motorcycle is a bicycle with a pandemonium attachment and is designed for the especial use of mechanical geniuses, daredevils and lunatics." — George Fitch, Atlanta Constitution Newspaper, 1912 _______________________________________________ Emc-developers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-developers
