Maybe I was unclear. I have already updated the docs to describe how
to install on Debian Buster, the question was whether to retain the
Ubuntu Precise instructions.
One reason to retain Precise is that that is the most up-to-date
version that we build for that can run with a known-good RTAI kernel.

I have noticed a few typos and a few examples of inelegant phrasing,
which I will attempt to remedy this evening. I also think it is worth
adding an extra "linuxcnc package name" column to the table.

The Buster ISO link currently leads nowhere, and the MD5 sums are also TBC.
