Maybe I was unclear. I have already updated the docs to describe how to install on Debian Buster, the question was whether to retain the Ubuntu Precise instructions. One reason to retain Precise is that that is the most up-to-date version that we build for that can run with a known-good RTAI kernel. http://linuxcnc.org/docs/2.8/html/getting-started/getting-linuxcnc.html I have noticed a few typos and a few examples of inelegant phrasing, which I will attempt to remedy this evening. I also think it is worth adding an extra "linuxcnc package name" column to the table. The Buster ISO link currently leads nowhere, and the MD5 sums are also TBC. -- atp "A motorcycle is a bicycle with a pandemonium attachment and is designed for the especial use of mechanical geniuses, daredevils and lunatics." — George Fitch, Atlanta Constitution Newspaper, 1912 _______________________________________________ Emc-developers mailing list Emc-developers@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-developers
