Having made a 2.8-pre3 release and put it on the server, I am seeing a few problems.
One of which is: E: Repository 'http://www.linuxcnc.org buster InRelease' changed its 'Origin' value from 'Sebastian Kuzminsky <[email protected]>' to 'Andy Pugh <[email protected]>' N: This must be accepted explicitly before updates for this repository can be applied. See apt-secure(8) manpage for details. This leaves me in a bit of a dilemma, as the obvious answer to make the transition smooth for the users is to retain Seb as the name at the bottom, but that is assigning (potential) blame where it does not belong. apt-get update does _not_ ask for permission to accept the name change. Nor does the Synaptic package manager. apt update does ask. -- atp "A motorcycle is a bicycle with a pandemonium attachment and is designed for the especial use of mechanical geniuses, daredevils and lunatics." — George Fitch, Atlanta Constitution Newspaper, 1912 _______________________________________________ Emc-developers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-developers
