Greetings all; With my servo-thread running at 2 kilohertz, which does not stress that i5 its running on, once the halscope has identified the signals are where they are supposed to be, halscope is locked up and cannot select a different channel, none of the sliders work and it cannot be stopped.
If I quit linuxcnc, it leaves halscope running, complaining about realtime not running, and I should click close to stop it, but clicking close just reopens the small window again, it does not close. Using the terminal linuxcnc was running in, I ran a "sudo htop" and was able to kill it with a kill -9. This is the third time that halscope has mis- behaved, the first 2 required a reboot, and x needed a startx after logging in to a console. Thats a bit of a bother. And this is master from the buildbot this morning. Cheers, Gene Heskett. -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
