IMO, it it does not do all that, it is a bug report. The one item that
could be a showstopper
would be tool changes, but it should verify the tool in the spindle is
the correct one before
actually resuming at the selected line. I faintly recall trying this
once right after it was
announced, it did not do the spindle start so I had to kill it again
before it broke a $20 tool.
That was quite a while back and I've not tried it since. Memories do
fade, and mine is not
an exception.
Outside of problems, it is very useful when tuning a program or in every
cases you want to start running a program from somewhere else than
beginning.
Explanation of its behavior should be kept and may be even improved
