Yesterday I created a new 2.9 branch to stabilise 2.9 for release. The content for 2.9 is not yet finalised (I would quite like to see the Colorlight and Remora drivers in there) but the plan is to work on fixing known bugs and build problems.
The main result of this change is that Master is now 2.10 and is open for new work that might not be appropriate for a stable branch. One result of this is that at the moment the builbot is probably _not_ building 2.9 debs any more.
