As far as I know the LinuxCNC interpreter completely ignores line numbers. So, there would need to be a way to insert a label, and it would need to be an O-word to stop the interpreter parsing the letters as axes. O100 LABEL and O<landing_point> LABEL could work within the current interpreter assumptions.
