doesn't seem to make all that much sense to make users then go off to
another place for the details.
Admittedly, the Mesa docs do exactly that.
Sometimes the man pages can be accessed quicker for a quick reference
via the terminal than open the docs and find the right page. So that
speaks for keeping them. But for comprehensive docs, sure, the adoc
pages are better readable.
