I am having trouble building the live image, as the system is refusing
to use the 2.9.4 image from LinuxCNC, but instead the 2.9.0~pre from
Debian.

I don't know enough about certificates to know if this means our
certificate has run out (I don't think so, I am having no trouble
installing from the repo on my own PCs and Pis) or whether I need to
reconfigure something in the live-build.

FWIW there is a similar issue with qtpyvcp and that recently had a
certificate added:
