2.9 docs are out of date on the web: https://linuxcnc.org/docs/stable/html/getting-started/getting-linuxcnc.html (still about 2.9.4) But updated several times in Github: https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/blob/2.9/docs/src/getting-started/getting-linuxcnc.adoc I think that the updates rely on a Buster buildbot build succeeding.
