Looking at the following three commit messages shows Andy shadowing the
one who opened the PR. How does that work?
And the one opening the PR has deleted the local fork now too.
Feels like a testing attempt for possibly something more malicious?

No, I was thinking exactly the same thing. All the hallmarks of a
malicious probe.
