Hello, Anybody have any insight here. I want to be certain my wires are not crossed.
When a product is placed on the market in the EU the following is required: 1) CE mark on equipment, containers and documentation. 2) Declaration of Conformity (DOC) with each shipment. 3) A technical file available to the officials within 24 hours of request. Additional Questions 2-1) Is the DOC a original document, that is, signed in ink or could it be a copy. 3-1) Is it acceptable to retain the technical file on a server in electronic format in the US and retrieve as needed?
