I have an application that requires SELV separation of relay coil-contact
circuits to IEC 950 requirements. One vendor has a relay that is BABT
certified to Clauses 4.2.1, 4.2.3(a), 4.4.2 and 4.5.1 of BS EN 41003:1991.
I don't have EN 41003. Are the requirements stated in the referenced
clauses of BS EN 41003:1991 equivalent to the IEC 950 requirements for
reinforced/double insulation for separation of SELV circuits from 240 Vac
mains? Thanks.
